Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements (STAIRs)
At PNWHA, we believe in being open and transparent with our tenants. The Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements (STAIRs) give tenants greater access to information about their landlord and the services they receive.
What is STAIRs?
STAIRs stands for Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements.
From 1 October 2026, housing associations like PNWHA are required to proactively publish certain information about how they manage homes and provide services to tenants.
The aim is simple: to make important information easier to find and give tenants a clearer understanding of how their landlord works.
From April 2027, tenants and their representatives will also have the right to request certain information from us that isn’t already available.
How do I make a STAIRs request?
From April 2027, tenants and their representatives will be able to request information from us under STAIRs. We’ll make the process simple and accessible, with full details on how to submit a request available, more information on how to make a request will follow soon.

What information is not included?
Some information may not be available through STAIRs, including personal or confidential information, commercially sensitive information, or information where disclosure could affect the safety, security or privacy of others.
